Indian shares extend gains to 2 pct
MUMBAI, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Indian shares extended gains to 2 percent on Wednesday morning, led by Reliance Industries (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO: Quote, Profile, Research).
At 11:08 a.m. (0538 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 2.12 percent at 15,731.67 points, with 26 components advancing.
Reliance Industries climbed 3.4 percent at 1,882.35 rupees while Infosys rose 4 percent to 2,225 rupees.
The 50-share NSE Index .NSEI was up nearly 2 percent at 4,653.80. (Reporting by Ami Shah)
