NEW YORK (Reuters) - The head of Washington Post Co's Web division, Caroline Little, is resigning, three sources familiar with the matter said on Friday.

The Web unit, Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, includes washingtonpost.com, as well as online magazine Slate.com and Newsweek.com.

Little was not immediately available for comment. One source said the announcement was made to the Washington Post newsroom on Friday. The sources declined to be identified because they were not authorized to speak for the company.
