U.S. warns Iran against 'bad behaviour' as sanctions levelled

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States will no longer tolerate provocative actions by Iran that threaten U.S. interests, the White House's national security adviser said on Friday, as Washington hit Tehran with sanctions over a ballistic missile test.

"The international community has been too tolerant of Iran’s bad behaviour," national security adviser Michael Flynn said in a statement.

"The days of turning a blind eye to Iran’s hostile and belligerent actions toward the United States and the world community are over," he said.
