Futures signal slight gains for European stocks

LONDON, July 16 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to a slightly higher open on Monday, with investors focusing on company earnings and this week’s testimony from U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to determine the market’s near-term direction.

At 0603 GMT, futures for Euro STOXX 50, Germany’s DAX and France’s CAC were flat to 0.3 percent higher.
