Seoul shares open lower after third straight daily gain

SEOUL, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened slightly
lower on Monday after their third consecutive daily rise on
Friday, touching a five-month high.
    Index heavyweight Samsung Electronics Co eased
0.2 percent in early trade on Monday after another U.S. patent
defeat to Apple.
    The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell
0.06 percent to 2,006.44 points minutes after the market open.
