Mexico's peso firms sharply to over 2-month high

MEXICO CITY, July 16 (Reuters) - Mexico’s peso firmed sharply on Monday to a more than two-month high after weak U.S. retail sales data raised speculation the Federal Reserve could offer further stimulus to support the economy of Mexico’s top trading partner.

The peso firmed 0.66 percent to 13.2150 per dollar, its strongest since May 8.
