Mexican stocks rise sharply to record high

MEXICO CITY, July 16 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks rose sharply on Monday to hit an all-time high, rallying for a sixth consecutive session and bolstered by a 1.95 percent gain in shares of Wal-Mart de Mexico.

Mexico benchmark IPC stock index climbed as much as 1.05 percent to 40,923.76 points, its highest ever.
