Peru central bank offers to buy dollars as sol gains

LIMA, July 16 (Reuters) - Peru’s central bank offered to buy dollars in the local spot market on Monday as the sol currency bid 0.08 percent stronger at 2.621 per dollar.

The central bank purchased $184 million on Friday. The sol has been trading around its strongest levels relative to the dollar in 15 years.
