BRIEF-Moody's assigns Baa2 to $6 billion of new Kraft Foods Group notes

May 31 (Reuters) - Kraft Foods Group:

* Moody’s Investors Service has assigned Baa2 long-term senior unsecured debt ratings to $6 billion of proposed senior unsecured notes being offered today by Kraft Foods Group, Inc., the wholly-owned grocery foods subsidiary of Kraft Foods Inc. (“KFI”) that will be spun off later this year. The rating outlook is stable.
