India's ACC October shipments down 0.6 pct y/y

MUMBAI, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Indian cement maker ACC Ltd (ACC.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday shipments in October fell marginally to 1.69 million tonnes from 1.70 million a year ago.

The company, in which Swiss cement maker Holcim (HOLN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) holds more than 46 percent, said production fell to 1.71 million tonnes from 1.74 million tonnes a year ago. (Reporting by Prashant Mehra; Editing by John Mair)
