Merrill Lynch said it made Caroline Silver vice chairman of Investment Banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

CB RICHARD ELLIS INVESTORS

The real estate investment management firm, an affiliate of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc (CBG.N: Quote, Profile, Research), said Sabina Kalyan will be joining the team in a newly created position of European Head of Strategy.

Kalyan who will be based in London was earlier a chief economist at Investment Property Databank (IPD).
