FOREX-Dollar gains after U.S. durable goods

NEW YORK,July 25 (Reuters) - The dollar rose against the yen and pared losses against the euro on Friday after a Commerce Department report showed an unexpected rise in U.S. durable goods orders for June.

The dollar rose to 107.63 yen from 107.39 yen <JPY=>, while the euro traded at $1.5710 <EUR=>, compared with $1.5724 before the release of the data. (Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
