Mexico's central bank uncomfortable with inflation
MEXICO CITY, April 30 (Reuters) - Mexico's central bank governor Guillermo Ortiz said on Wednesday he was uncomfortable with current levels of inflation, but that Mexico's economy has so far weathered a U.S. economic slowdown.
"The inflation phenomenon is worldwide, but we are certainly not comfortable with current levels of inflation," Ortiz said as the bank delivered its quarterly inflation report. (Reporting by Luis Rojas Mena and Noel Randewich, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama,)
