Bank of Canada speech makes no mention of economy

TORONTO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Bank of Canada Deputy Governor Pierre Duguay made no mention of the current global economy, the domestic economy or monetary policy during a speech to students at a Quebec university on Monday.

Duguay's speech was called "The Quest for Confidence: 400 Years of Money - from La Nouvelle France to Canada Today" and was being followed by a question and answer session with students and faculty at Laval University in Quebec City. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; Editing by Peter Galloway)
