CANADA STOCKS-TSX sinks 1 percent as financials weigh

TORONTO, May 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index sank on Thursday afternoon, led lower by financials, as Canada's big insurers reporter weaker-than-expected results.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 109.73 points, or 1.08 percent, to 10,033.70. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
