Obama to ease limits on US-Cuba family ties-official
WASHINGTON, April 13 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Monday will lift some U.S. restrictions to allow Cuban Americans to travel more freely to the communist-ruled island and send financial assistance to family members, a U.S. official said.
The move would fulfill one of Obama's campaign promises and could herald an effort to improve ties between the two countries.
