Telenor appeal won't stop share sale -Russia bailiffs
MOSCOW, June 9 (Reuters) - Russia's bailiffs service said on Tuesday that Telenor's upcoming appeals hearing in a Siberian court would not stop the service from putting up for sale Telenor's (TEL.OL: Quote, Profile, Research) stake in mobile firm Vimpelcom (VIP.N: Quote, Profile, Research).
"The hearing...to review the enforcement of the decision in no way stops its enforcement and does not prevent moves to hand over the arrested shares for sale," the bailiffs service said in a statement late on Tuesday. (Reporting by Simon Shuster, editing by Conor Humphries)
