UK minister says Magna set to win GM Europe race

LONDON, May 29 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker Magna International (MGa.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) and its Russian banking partner Sberbank Rossii are "almost certain" to become the new shared owners of General Motors' GM.N European arm, British Business Secretary Peter Mandelson said on Friday.

"It is almost certain that these new owners will be agreed in due course," Mandelson told Sky News.
