Australia's IAG says to cut 600 jobs

SYDNEY, July 9 (Reuters) - Insurance Australia Group Ltd (IAG.AX: Quote, Profile, Research) (IAG), Australia's biggest home and car insurer, would cut 600 jobs, or about 5 percent of its workforce, to meet its planned A$130 million ($124 million) in annual cost savings, Chief Executive Officer Michael Wilkins told a media briefing.
