Mexican peso hits best level in 10 months as market awaits Fed

MEXICO CITY, June 13 (Reuters) - Mexico’s peso currency on Tuesday hit its strongest level since August as the market eagerly awaits the monetary policy decision by the U.S. Federal Reserve on Wednesday in which an interest rate hike is expected.

The exchange rate reached 18.092 per greenback in morning trading, the peso’s strongest level since August 18. (Reporting by Miguel Angel Gutierrez)
