Mexican stocks fall more than 1 pct as U.S. shutdown rolls on

MEXICO CITY, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell more than 1 percent on Monday on concerns over the continued U.S. government shutdown and political fighting over the debt ceiling limit.

The IPC index was down 1.13 percent at 40,448.37 points in early trading.
