Mexico stocks extend losses on bank, oil worries

MEXICO CITY, July 1 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks extended losses on Tuesday as concerns about the health of banks pulled down global bourses and as rising oil prices stoked worries worldwide about economic growth and inflation.

The benchmark IPC stock index .MXX dropped 2.12 percent to 28,773 points. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
