MEXICO CITY, May 14 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks jumped on Wednesday after U.S. consumer prices grew less than expected in April, taking pressure off the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in the economy that takes in most of Mexico's exports.

The benchmark IPC stock index .MXX climbed 1.29 percent to 31,286 points, led by gains at telecommunications bellwether America Movil (AMXL.MX: Quote, Profile, Research). (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle)
