Mexico stocks rally as oil drop eases US worries
MEXICO CITY, July 16 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks rallied on Wednesday as a $4 drop in oil prices eased fears about the U.S. economy while better-than expected profits at Wells Fargo & Co calmed nerves about the hard-hit financial sector.
The benchmark IPC stock index .MXX gained for the first time in six sessions, closing 1.94 percent higher at 27,968.82 points. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle)
