Mexico stocks jump, helped by cenbank outlook

MEXICO CITY, June 19 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks jumped on Friday, led by gains in top retailer Wal-Mart de Mexico (WALMEXV.MX: Quote, Profile, Research), after the country's central bank said Mexico's economy will likely improve in the second half of the year.

The IPC stock index .MXX rose as much as 1.05 percent to 24,560. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by James Dalgleish)
