Mexico stocks sink on global economy worries
MEXICO CITY, June 22 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell sharply on Monday as investors pulled out of riskier assets amid uncertainty about the global economy following a rally in stock markets around the world since March.
The IPC stock index .MXX lost 1.26 percent to 23,967, hit by losses at wireless operator America Movil (AMXL.MX: Quote, Profile, Research) and copper miner Grupo Mexico (GMEXICOB.MX: Quote, Profile, Research). (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by James Dalgleish)
