Mexico stocks sink 3 pct on global economy woes
MEXICO CITY, June 22 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks sank on Monday as investors questioned the potential strength of a global economic recovery, hammering stock markets, commodity prices and emerging market assets around the world.
Mexico's IPC stock index .MXX lost 3.03 percent to 23,538, hit by losses at mobile phone operator America Movil (AMXL.MX: Quote, Profile, Research) and miners Grupo Mexico (GMEXICOB.MX: Quote, Profile, Research) and Penoles (PENOLES.MX: Quote, Profile, Research).
