Mexican stocks rally on strong US GDP
MEXICO CITY, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks rallied on Thursday after data showed the U.S. economy grew in the third quarter for the first time in more than a year, boding well for a recovery in Mexico's export sector and its battered economy.
The IPC stock index .MXX gained 2.82 percent to 29,478, breaking a six-session losing streak that had nearly wiped out gains made in October. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by Dan Grebler)
