Bank of Ireland says no current need for rights issue
DUBLIN, July 3 (Reuters) - Bank of Ireland (BKIR.I: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it had enough capital at present but the question of a rights issue was always under review.
"We believe we are adequately capitalised right now bearing in mind the projections we have given," outgoing chairman Richard Burrows told the company's annual general meeting.
"The question that you have raised about a rights issue is something that is always under review but for the moment we believe we are adequately capitalised."
