New Issue-Corning sells $350 mln in 2-part notes

 May 7 (Reuters) - Corning Inc (GLW.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday sold $350
million in two-part notes, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters
service.
  The size of the deal was increased from an originally
planned $250 million.
  Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan were the joint bookrunning
managers for the sale.
