New Issue-Norfolk Southern sells $500 mln in 10-yr sr notes

  May 27 (Reuters) - Freight rail operator Norfolk Southern
Corp (NSC.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday sold $500 million in ten-year senior
notes, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
  Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Wachovia were the joint
lead bookrunning managers for the sale.
