Calik Enerji submits top bid for 2nd Turk power grid
ANKARA, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Turkish energy firm Calik Enerji submitted the highest bid of $441.5 million for Turkey's Yesilirmak electricity distribution grid in a tender broadcast live on television on Friday.
Turkey's Privatisation Administration (OIB) is tendering off three electricity distribution grids on Friday. The Yesilirmak power grid in northern Turkey, the second to be tendered off, had a consumption of 4,063 gigawatt hours in 2008, according to data on the OIB website. (Reporting by Hatice Aydogdu)
