 PRESS DIGEST
 - BANK MANDIRI TO COMPLETE $100 MILLION LOAN
 Top lender PT Bank Mandiri (BMRI.JK: Quote, Profile, Research) is completing a $100
million loan provided by three creditors to strengthen its
long-term funding structure, said Treasury and International
Banking Director, Thomas Arifin.
 - INDONESIAN FIRMS EYE DEBT SALES OF $1.65 BLN
 At least five domestic firms will issue global bonds in the
near term, raising a total of $1.65 billion, including coal
miner PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI.JK: Quote, Profile, Research) and energy firm PT Medco
Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC.JK: Quote, Profile, Research), said Ronny Wicaksono, head
of pricing department at Indonesia's bond pricing agency

 - "LACK OF EVIDENCE" AGAINST KPK OFFICERS - INVESTIGATORS
 The President's fact-finding team may recommend that the
police drop their investigation of two anti-graft agency
officials who were suspended, because there is insufficient
evidence, members of the team Adnan Buyung Nasution and Todung

 MARKET SNAPSHOTS
 * Indonesia's index was up 1.2 percent on Friday. Number
two lender Bank Rakyat (BBRI.JK: Quote, Profile, Research) was up 3.5 percent, and Bank
Negara Indonesia (BBNI.JK: Quote, Profile, Research) rose 3.9 percent.
 * U.S. stock index futures were slightly higher on Friday
as investors awaited monthly payrolls data and the unemployment
rate, key indicators to determine the strength of the economic
recovery. [.N]
 * Oil prices fell nearly 3 percent to $77 a barrel on
Friday after data showed the U.S. jobless rate jumped to a
26-1/2-year high in October, raising concerns about a potential
rebound in fuel demand. [O/R]

 * Malaysian crude palm oil futures finished flat on Friday,
giving up gains of more than one percent as investors
liquidated long positions ahead of the weekend, traders said.

 * In Indonesia, the state marketing centre, based in
Jakarta, sold 6,500 tonnes of palm oil at a top price of 6,564
rupiah per kg on Friday, against 6,523 rupiah per kg on

ASIA MARKETS NEWS - For an outlook of Asian stock trading,
click on [STXNEWS/AS] - The Indonesian rupiah hit its highest
in more than a week against the dollar and the Korean won
clocked its best weekly gains on Friday, positioning for an
upcoming G20 meeting. [EMRG/FRX] - Most major Southeast Asian
stock markets rose on Friday, with solid earnings from DBS,
Thai Oil and others providing support in Singapore and
Thailand, and blue chips elsewhere coming off recent losses.
