EMERGING EUROPE STOCKS - Factors to Watch July 9

WARSAW, July 9 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Central/Eastern
Europe's financial markets on Wednesday.

UNIPETROL

Czech refiner Unipetrol's (UNPEsp.PR: Quote, Profile, Research) full year net profit
should reach 3.8 billion Czech ($252.7 million), Chief Executive
Francois Vleugels was quoted as saying Hospodarske Noviny. He
added the company does not expect further write-offs or outages.

POLISH SUPERMARKETS

Polish constitutional tribunal overruled a law restricting
construction of large supermarkets, which made it difficult for
companies such as Britain's Tesco (TSCO.L: Quote, Profile, Research) to expand in the
European Union's largest ex-communist member, writes Dziennik.

TPSA

Merrill Lynch cuts its target price for Poland's top
telecoms group TPSA TPSA.WA to 27.60 zlotys from 28.70 zlotys

ROMPETROL

Romania's second largest oil firm Rompetrol Group NV
ROMP.BX plans to invest $80 million by 2012 to raise
environment standards at its Petromidia plant.

BANCA TRANSILVANIA

Romanian bank Banca Transilvania BATR.BX said its profit
rose 40 percent on the year to 111.4 million lei ($41.3 million)
in the first half of 2008, daily Ziarul Financiar reports.

EUROPEAN MARKETS

European stock index futures pointed to a higher start on
Wednesday, tracking a bounce in global stocks as investors took
heart from U.S. Federal Reserve chairman saying further
lifelines may be available for banks.

U.S. stocks rose in another turbulent session on Tuesday as
a pullback in oil prices eased worries about consumer and
business spending, while financial shares gained after the
