Brazil's Terna Part OKs 2007 dividend payout

MILAN, March 10 (Reuters) - Shareholders of Brazilian power grid operator Terna Participacoes (TRNA11.SA: Quote, Profile, Research) approved a final 2007 dividend payout of 54.56 million reais on Monday, parent company Terna (TRN.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) said.

Shareholders also approved a payment of 2007 interest on equity of 12.33 million reais, Terna, the Italian power grid operator, said in a statement.

The amounts approved bring the full 2007 dividend and payment of interest on equity to 124.3 million reais, it said. (Reporting by Ian Simpson)
