WARSAW, March 28 (Reuters) - Poland's largest oil group PKN PKNA.WA has reached agreement with its trade unions on wages for 2008 and said it would increase workers' salaries by 3.5 percent, the company said on Friday.

Each employee would also get an additional 280 zlotys gross on top of the 3.5 percent increase, the company said.

The average salary at the state-controlled oil refiner is currently at 6,100 zlotys ($2,728).

It did not give details on how much this would cost the company.

Trade unions previously demanded a 10.5 percent salary rise.

Poland's economy has been booming in recent quarters, pushing unemployment down and spreading high wage demands across the economy.

In February, wages in the corporate sector rose 12.8 percent year-on-year. (Writing by Karolina Slowikowska)
