LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - Neste Oil's (NES1V.HE: Quote, Profile, Research) diesel line at its Porvoo Refinery in Finland is in the start-up phase of production and will be at full capacity "very soon", a company spokesman said on Tuesday.

"We have completed the maintenance work and we will be back up to full capacity shortly," Neste spokesman Osmo Kammonen told Reuters by telephone.

"It's in the start-up phase, we hope to be there very soon."

The 750 million euro ($1.04 billion) diesel line, which has been plagued by problems since it opened in June 2007, has been closed for maintenance since the beginning of April.

The line can refine 1 million tonnes of diesel a year. (Reporting by David Sheppard; Editing by Anthony Barker) (d.sheppard@thomsonreuters.com; Tel: +44 (0)207 542 4259) ($1=.7208 Euro)
