Med Crude-Urals bid higher on tight supply

* Urals bid in the Med by Shell at dated minus 10 cents

* Urals in NWE bid stronger

* Azeri Light bid to dated plus 50 cents

LONDON, June 24 (Reuters) - Russian Urals crude oil differentials were firmer on Wednesday as tight supplies of sour grades offset pressure from higher freight rates.

"I think there is a general lack of sour grades out there and that's why Urals remains to be supported at these levels," one trader said.

URALS

* In the Mediterranean, Urals was seen higher with Shell bidding up to dated minus 10 cents for an 80,000-tonne cargo loading July 7-11 before withdrawing its bid. This was firmer than on Tuesday when Shell bid up to dated minus 35 cents for an for a July 3-7 cargo.  Continued...
