Calif. May diesel jumps on refinery upsets - trade
HOUSTON, April 3 (Reuters) - California wholesale diesel differentials for May jumped 6.5 cents on Thursday after a Los Angeles refinery suffered upsets Wednesday night and Thursday morning, traders said.
BP Plc's (BP.L: Quote, Profile, Research) 265,000 barrel per day Los Angeles-area refinery in Carson, California, suffered a brief hydrocracker outage, a sulfur recovery unit upset and interruption to a co-generation plant, according to sources familiar with refinery operations.
All units were operating at the refinery and were returning to full output, the sources said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
