NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuters) - Alon USA Energy In. (ALJ.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said its capital budget is unchanged at $90 million for 2009, company executives said in a quarterly conference call on Thursday.

Alon will run its 85,000 barrel per day Paramount, California in the 40,000- to 50,000-bpd range, executives said.

Repairs to a new heater installed at the refinery is under repair after the unit was damaged by lighting in early April. The company said repairs will take about 10 weeks.

Alon also expects to boost throughput at its 83,100 bpd Krotz Springs, Louisiana refinery from first quarter 2009 levels in the second quarter. The refinery will undergo a major turnaround in the first quarter of 2010, the company said. (Reporting by Rebekah Kebede; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
