Mississippi River expected to reopen Tuesday
HOUSTON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Coast Guard expects Mississippi River pilots to reopen the river to vessel traffic by late Tuesday in the wake of Tropical Depression Ida, a spokesman said.
A queue of 26 vessels outbound and 30 inbound were awaiting reopening of the river, the spokesman said. The river was under Coast Guard and pilot service restrictions as Ida threatened. (Reporting by Bruce Nichols)
