Petrobras trims output forecast for 2008 on delays
RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Brazil's state oil company Petrobras (PETR4.SA: Quote, Profile, Research)(PBR.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday that it would reduce its forecast of average daily crude output for 2008 due to delays in production platforms coming onstream.
The company said that daily crude output in Brazil was now seen at 1.89 million to 1.9 million barrels per day, down from the previous view of 1.95 million bpd.
The P-51 platform and the floating, production, storage and offloading vessel Cidade de Niteroi were no longer expected to enter into production in the fourth quarter but were now seen coming onstream in January, said Almir Barbassa, Petrobras' financial director.
