Valero sees repairs finished at Aruba by early April
SAN DIEGO, March 11 (Reuters) - Independent refiner Valero Energy Corp expects to complete repairs at its damaged Aruba refinery by early April, and raise crude oil processing rates to 230,000 to 255,000 barrels per day later that month, Valero CEO Bill Klesse said Tuesday.
Klesse said the 275,000 bpd capacity refinery was currently running at 120,000 bpd. A Jan. 25 fire damaged a vacuum distillation unit at the refinery. (Reporting by Rebekah Kebede; Editing by John Picinich)
