At least one dead in storms near Atlanta
ATLANTA, March 15 (Reuters) - At least one person was killed and others were seriously injured on Saturday in storms northwest of Atlanta, one day after a tornado ripped through the U.S. city, local officials said.
"I do have at least one confirmed fatality with some serious injuries," said Thomas Wilson, director of the emergency "911" service in Polk County, which is northwest of Atlanta and on the border with Alabama. (Editing by Jackie Frank)
