US power output up 1.98 pct on week - Genscape
HOUSTON, June 15 (Reuters) - U.S. power output in the week ended June 11 rose 1.98 percent from the week before but was 19.75 percent below the same week of 2008, Genscape said Monday.
The seasonal shift to warmer weather contributed to week-on-week increases. However, the economic slump has been the main driver of year-on-year declines, Genscape says.
