NEW YORK, May 18 (Reuters) - Shell Oil Co (RDSa.L: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday a crude unit at its 332,000-barrel-per-day Deer Park, Texas, refinery is running at reduced rates, but all other units have been restarted after being shut a week ago due to a power disruption.

The company had said previously that it expected the refinery to return to normal rates over the weekend.

"Crude rates are curtailed somewhat by operational issues that we anticipate resolving soon," the statement said.

Last Monday, an unexpected outage of the Calpine steam utilities plant caused the refinery to disrupt production. (Reporting by Rebekah Kebede; Editing by Christian Wiessner)
