Conoco reports S.F. Bay refinery flaring - state

HOUSTON, March 21 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips (COP.N: Quote, Profile, Research) reported flaring on Thursday night at its 76,000 barrel per day (bpd) San Francisco Bay-area refinery in Rodeo, California, in a notice filed with state pollution regulators.

A Conoco representative was not immediately available to discuss refinery operations on Friday.

The filing with the California Office of Emergency Services did not say what caused the flaring. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, editing by Richard Chang)
