Pasadena Refining TX refinery loses boiler -sources

HOUSTON, March 24 (Reuters) - A steam boiler at Pasadena Refining System Inc's 117,000 barrel per day (bpd) total throughput refinery in Pasadena, Texas, malfunctioned on Monday morning, leading to smoky flaring from the plant on the Houston Ship Channel, according to sources familiar with operations.
