CARACAS, April 29 (Reuters) - OPEC-member Venezuela's state oil company PDVSA said it could not confirm or deny if its operations were affected by a power blackout that hit several states across the country.

An official at the company said it expected to release a statement later in the day. An official at the 135,000 barrel per day El Palito refinery said that site was functioning normally.
