Petroecuador cuts largest refinery rate to 90 pct

QUITO, April 30 (Reuters) - Petroecuador's Esmeraldas refinery, the OPEC nation's largest with a 100,000 barrels of crude per day capacity, is working at 90 percent of its normal levels due to repairs, a company official said on Wednesday.

The refinery's superintendent Nelson Chulde said the state company will take around two weeks to repair a damaged distillation unit. (Reporting by Alonso Soto; editing by Marguerita Choy)
